Mumbai-based, Guwahati-born Singer-Songwriter Prarthana Choudhury is back with another fresh music-video titled ‘Ejaak moloyaai’ (YOUTUBE LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPaWzsjE73w). This time you will see the singer also donning the hat of the lead female-actor, opposite renowned actor and the Assamese youth’s heartthrob Utpal Das. ‘Ejaak Moloyaai’ is a sweet, melodious romantic song with an old-world charm, written and composed by Anup Baruah. The video has been directed by ace Choreographer Joly Borah and produced by Shobhita’s Production. With its crisp story-telling devised by Joly, the music-video leaves a lasting impact on the viewer. And, Prarthana’s mellifluous and soulful voice adds the icing on the cake! No wonder ‘Ejaak Moloyaai’ is fast gaining popularity on social media.
This music-video has been launched close on the heels of the recently-released cover-music-video, ‘Ek pyar ka nagma’ presented by the Father-Daughter Duo – Prarthana on the vocals and her dad Dr. Satyendra Kr. Choudhury (veteran academician) on the violin.
Prarthana Choudhury was honoured with the ‘Best Female Singer’ Award at the 5th Artist Aloud Music Awards held in Mumbai in 2016, for her own composition, ‘Kaisi Khudgarzi’.
